The car cost a little under $3,000 to fix. The cat (Dexter) is back at the vet's today for a checkup to see if the insulin dose is right. He's been in to have his blood sugar curves monitored and they've decided to increase the dose and re-check him in another 2 weeks. If this increase doesn't stabilise his levels, they will need to try a 'big' dose on him to see how that goes, and if that doesn't work they'll try a different brand/form of Insulin. We're friends.I stopped in to survey the 'damage' this morning, and decided to fix it up instead of retiring.
